Everyone responds to arthritis pain differently, so having options is important. Finding the right
treatment for you can make a difference. If you have arthritis pain, read more about CELEBREX, then

Are there medical conditions I should tell my doctor about before taking CELEBREX?
It is important to tell your doctor about your complete medical history before taking CELEBREX. Tell your doctor if you:
- Are pregnant
- Have a history of ulcers or bleeding in the stomach or intestines
- Have high blood pressure or heart failure
- Have kidney or liver problems
- Have aspirin-sensitive asthma or allergic reactions to aspirin or other arthritis medicines or certain drugs called sulfonamides
- Take any other medications
I take low-dose aspirin—can I still take CELEBREX?
If you are taking low-dose aspirin for your heart and need an NSAID pain reliever, CELEBREX can be used
because it doesn’t interfere with aspirin’s antiplatelet effect. However, taking low-dose aspirin may
not reduce the cardiovascular risk associated with NSAID use. With any NSAID, including CELEBREX,
patients also taking aspirin are at an increased risk for stomach bleeding and ulcers. CELEBREX is not
a substitute for aspirin in preventing heart attack or stroke.
I take other medications—can I still take CELEBREX?
If you take other medications, it’s important to work with your doctor to find the right treatment for your
individual needs. Be sure to tell your doctor about all of the medications you take—prescription,
over-the-counter, and even herbal and nutritional supplements. If you are allergic, or have allergic-type
reactions to celecoxib, aspirin, other NSAIDs, or certain drugs called sulfonamides, you should not take CELEBREX.
Is CELEBREX a narcotic drug?
CELEBREX is not a narcotic. CELEBREX is a type of NSAID (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug).
